Services offered

The Light Awakener offers wellness services that may include massage/bodywork, energy-based and spiritual support services, private sessions by appointment, and corporate/workplace wellness services (onsite or remote).

All services are intended for wellness, relaxation, and personal support. Individual experiences and outcomes vary.

Appointments, booking & payment

All sessions and events are by appointment only.
Payment is required to confirm a booking (unless explicitly stated otherwise).
Payments are processed securely through third-party providers such as Acuity / Squarespace Scheduling and Stripe.
Unless required by law, payments are final and non-refundable.

Rescheduling, cancellation & late arrival

You may request one reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
Late cancellations or missed appointments are charged in full.
If you arrive late, the session may still end at the scheduled time to respect other bookings.

Corporate & workplace wellness (Wellness@Work)

Corporate/workplace wellness services may include onsite chair massage and/or massage table sessions (where space and setup allow). These services are intended as non-medical wellness experiences.

Client responsibilities for onsite events

Provide a safe, clean, and appropriate workspace for services.
Ensure reasonable access, setup space, and basic accommodations (as applicable).
Provide accurate location details and onsite contact information at booking or prior to the event.
The client is responsible for the conduct of employees/guests participating in the event.

Receipts/confirmations are provided for business records. Tax treatment varies by business; please consult your accountant.

Massage services disclaimer

Massage and bodywork services are provided for relaxation and general wellness purposes only and are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. Please inform your practitioner of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, pregnancy, or areas of concern prior to your session.

Energy / spiritual services disclaimer

Energy, spiritual, intuitive, and consciousness-based services are non-medical and non-psychological in nature. They do not replace licensed medical, mental health, or legal professionals. Results vary by individual.

Health, safety & participation

Participation is voluntary. You are responsible for communicating any relevant health considerations directly to the practitioner before receiving services. Practitioners may decline, modify, or stop services if they believe participation is not appropriate or safe.

Respectful conduct

This is a professional wellness space. We reserve the right to refuse or end services (without refund) for disrespectful, unsafe, inappropriate, or sexually suggestive behavior.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Light Awakener is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim.

By booking or participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with wellness services.
